- It is a temporary root canal filling material which is made by mixing Calcium Hydroxide powder and Iodoform together forming a paste in a syringe.

- MetaPex Plus is used for temporarily filling root canal untill the root canal is ready for permanent filling.

Metapex Composition:
- Metapex is composed of Calcium Hydroxide, Iodoform, and Silicon Oil.
Difference between Metapex Plus and calcium hydroxide:
- Metapex Plus is the Composition of CaOH ( Calcium Hydroxide), Iodoform , Silicon oil mixed as a paste in a Syringe as shown above.
- Calcium Hydroxide is a powder and can be used either in powder or paste later.
